SWITCHING FUNCTION TO TX600 SEARCH
The PIEPS TX600 is a mini-transmitter for dogs and equipmnet that is transmitting out of the standard EN300718 and can be received with every PIEPS DSP(version 8.2). Press the OPTIONS and SCAN buttons simultaneously while in the SEARCH-mode. The PIEPS DSP switches into the TX600-mode and indicates the direction and distance to the strongest TX600 signal. To activate the search according to the standard EN300718 again, switch the PIEPS DSP to the SEND-mode and then back to the SEARCH-mode.

IMPORTANT! In the standard SEARCH-mode the PIEPS DSP does not indicate the TX600. Active search operations are never influenced. A detection of the TX600 without switching to a special mode is only possible in immediate vicinity (<1 m).

Enhanced by the latest DSP technology (signal processing with a digital signal) and a triple-antenna system, the PIEPS DSP not only offers an exceptional 60 meter range but also greatly simplifies the rescue procedure, even in the case of multiple burials.

As soon as the PIEPS DSP picks up signals, the approximate distance and direction to the strongest signal are displayed, plus the number of burials within range is represented by matchstick men.

Another feature is the highly useful SCAN feature. Press the SCAN key while in SEARCH mode and the DSP will scan the entire receiving range and return an overview of all buried devices within range classified in three groups: within approx. 5 meters, within approx. 20 meters, and within approx. 50 meters.

The optimized multiple search feature is based on a separation of signals. By default, the PIEPS DSP will automatically search for the strongest signal. Once the position of the first burial has been located, a searcher can "MARK" the signal which will suppress it and the PIEPS DSP will automatically search for the second strongest signal and so on and so forth until all victims are located.

1. Why do you sells the Pieps DSP and no other beacon

   We were the first in Canada to test the Pieps DSP and where so impressed that we use them exclusively for our snowmobile tours. We will only sell what we think is the best
    

2.  Do you have stock
   
   Yes , and can normally ship the next day. Do not be fooled by companies selling Pieps DSP at low prices but have no stock
    
3. Do you sell to the U.S.
   
   Yes we ship to the U.S., the pricing is in Can. Dollars but will show up on your credit card in US dollars with the exchange rate your CC company uses
    
4. What taxes do I pay?
   
   In Canada you only pay GST or HST depending on province. In the states we do not collect any taxes but you may have to pay local state taxes at your end. If we ship by mail to the US there is usually no fees or duties
